wow, how have i neglected this blog for so long??  i write daily in my own journal so i think it is easy to forget about coming here and writing about the cute & funny things she is doing at the moment.

so in more recent news, she is nearly fully potty trained! we decided to start potty training her at the beginning of february b/c we were going to register her for preschool, and obviously she needs to be potty trained for preschool.  she caught on pretty quickly... she is fully potty trained for pee at the moment. she even goes all by herself, pulling down and pulling up her own pants.  we are still struggling with pooping in the potty but i think she will figure it out soon. (hopefully)

but yeah, she is all registered for preschool. she will go through the park district, school starts in September and goes through may, like a typical school year. we signed her up for the 3 day preschool. it was about $1100 which I didn't think was too terrible. she definitely NEEDS preschool, she doesn't get enough (any, really) interaction with other kids so preschool will be really good for her.

she was so cute at the preschool open house - she really liked it. she liked the classroom a lot and she really liked the one teacher, she even asked the teacher to play with her. SO CUTE!

so yeah, she's all registered. my girl is getting so big!!

what else is going on with abby since i last wrote?

she loves to watch rescue bots on netflix, which is a watered down version of transformers.  the main character is a boy named cody and she says she likes cody & cody gives her hugs & kisses. LMAO

we went out this weekend to get the conversion kit to make her crib into a toddler bed and we were talking about all the people in the shopping center and she said, people love me! people give me hugs and kisses!
 
current favorite movie is LABYRINTH!

she says she is gobling king abby all the time and dances when the music comes on (dance magic dance, lol) she plays a lot and likes to pretend she is in the "sinking sand" and you have to come and help her. the sinking sand comes from land before time, lol.

she also calls herself "rider" from paw patrol and tells you what to say when she plays with you. like, say hi to rider! tell rider this! i'm neighbor abby! say hi neighbor abby! LOL. she's very funny and very imaginitve.

she plays with the swiffer duster prong and calls it her sabre light.

gosh, i need to be better about coming here and writing all this stuff down b/c you really do forget it easily!
